Various roles over the midlands, from Derby to Stoke and surrounding.

Duties 

– Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on heavy goods vehicles (HGVs)

– Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HGVs

– Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of HGVs

– Use hand tools and specialized equipment to repair, weld, fabricate, dig, assemble, and maintain HGVs

– Inspect and test HGVs to ensure they meet safety standards

– Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on HGVs

– Operate a forklift to move and transport HGV parts

– Previous experience as an HGV Technician or similar role

– Strong knowledge of electrical systems in HGVs

– Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labour as required

– Proficient in using hand tools for repairs and maintenance

– Welding and fabrication skills are a preferred but not essential

– Familiarity with soldering techniques is advantageous

– Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
